Jharsuguda: Badmal Police have arrested two accused who had scuffled with an CONCAST Electrical Engineer and had taken away his mobile and purse. Accused Manu Namdev (19) of Mangal Bazaar and Bittu Khatick (21 years) of buromal have been arrested. A Mobile phone and Rs. 1400 had recovered from them.
According to the sources Manas Patra (30year) of Concast who is working as an Electrical Engineer had been returning from a late night shift duty around 10.30 P.M. on 11th March 2013 and on the way towards his home near Vedanta these two accused had caught him and beaten him black and blue. They had snatched his mobile and purse.
Later the victim Manas had registered a case under Badmal Police Station on 12th March 2013. Today Badmal OIC K.C. Acharya had caught these culprits and booked under the Badmal Case No. 30/13 IPC 394.
As per the Police sources accused Bittu Khatick have been involved in 6 cases and Manu Namdev in 1 cases of Robbery , Attempt to murder , Theft , Dacoity etc. They both have been released from jail on Jan 5th 2013.
