Jharsuguda: Odisha CM Naveen Pattnaik today Visited Jharsuguda at 10.45 A.M. and had unveiled several development projects of Jharsuguda. As per the scheduled programme he had inaugurated Soil Testing Centre near SDO Colony First and then headed for the Lay of Foundation Stone for 300 Bedded New Super Specialty District Hospital under NRHM. This Project is around 30,250 Sq. Ft. with a estimated cost of 42 Cr. 83 Lakhs. This project is to be completed within 30 Calendar Months. This Hospital would have various facilities like Trauma Centre , Swine Flu & Burn Unit , Diarrohea , Skin & V.D. / Leprosy , Obsteric & Gynaecology Ward , Tuberculosis , Casuality Dept. Clinical Test, Outdoor Patient Dept. , Immunisation centre, Paediatric, Medicine Ward, Orthopedic Ward, Surgery Ward, Cardiology Ward and Eye Ward. Soon after this CM had addressed to the Huge Public gathering along with RDC S. Sriniwas Northern Range, Anup Sai (Brajrajnagar MLA ), Naba Kishore Das (Jharsuguda MLA ), Congress MP Sanjay Bhoi , Kishore Mohanty ( Ex-Speaker OLA ) , Jharsuguda Collector Bishnu Prasad Sahoo.
CM Told that �We are here to inaugurate Soil Testing Centre for the benefit of Farmers, Quality Health 300 Bedded Hospital, and Water Supply System. Our Government has been working towards the development for the poor people. In this Budget we have specially allotted 11,000 Cr. for the development in the Agriculture sector of the state. We have also announced Re.1 per Kg Rice for the Poor People to address the malnutrition for the poorer. We have state Madhu Babu Pension Scheme for the Poor people, Mamta Yojana for the women. Every child student of BPL family is being given Bicycle and every girl student studying upto Class 10 is being provided with School Dress and Bicycle. Coming 3 years road work in every ward of the village would be completed. The workers who are engaged in the Kenduleaf would receive a hike of Rs. 50 Paisa on the existing pay. For Farmers Development we have started Biju Krushik Scheme. Pipe Water Supply system for every Panchayat is being facilitated by the state Government. We are always working for the Development of our State and would continue to do it�
Jharsuguda MLA Naba Kishore Das Said that �I must congratulates the Honorable Chief Minister of the Sate and the leader of the House in the Odisha where we are the members. I must congratulate him. Not only by heart but with full emotions. I feel proud that for the first time in the state Jharsuguda would have seven storied Hospital with 300 bedded capacities. I must congratulate whatever initiation steps by our Honorable Chief Minister and state government. I must also thank the Honorable Member of Parliament Sanjay Bhoi who has tried his best to bring this project with the permission of Honorable Chief Minister. Today our dream has been fulfilled. I must also thanks Honorable Brajrajnagar MLA Anup Sai who has been with me for various project, water supply and also the over bridge. I would also want to congratulate my colleague Ex-MLA for taking some initiation at his time. This is not my end of my speech to the Honorable Chief Minister and this is not the end of the development for the Jharsuguda I request honorable Chief Minister for a big Stadium, Park, Kalyan Mandap and Airport in Jharsuguda. For every Development we need the help of our Honorable Chief Minister and by his blessing Jharsuguda would became Number one in the state. I would like to thank everyone who has come today irrespective of Party Politics. Jharsuguda Development is our Motto. I am really thankful Chief Minister from my heart and on behalf of all the people of Jharsuguda for coming at this function.�
He also donated various beneficiaries like wheel chairs and Land Patta Distribution to various people under various Government Schemes.
After this he inaugurated the Water Supply System at Kalimandir Road. This project is constructed under Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small and Medium Town with an estimated cost of 3306.59 Lakhs.
He also inaugurated a new building for Farm information and advisory centre near Tahasil Office and 100 bedded Hostel Building for S.T. Boys at Debadihi Sevashram School.
He also laid the Foundation stone of the proposed new over bridge which would connect Vedanta Aluminum Plant with SH -10. The Projects estimated cost is 16.5Crs. And would be completed within 12 calendar months.
After this project he left for Brajrajnagar for inaugurating Biju Pattnaik Statue at Gol Chowk where he had address a public meeting too with his party workers.
While speaking to the media CM Naveen Pattnaik Said that �I am very glad to be in Jharsuguda District today for a number of Welfare Schemes and various development programmes for the benefit of the people of the district.�
He then left for attending several other scheduled programmes at Jamankira and Kuchinda on later part of the day.
