Jharsuguda :Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited (OPGC) on Tuesday launched the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 cleanliness drive with active participation from its employees. The initiative took place at the IB Thermal Power Station colony premises, where enthusiastic volunteers joined hands to promote cleanliness and hygiene.
The drive was spearheaded by OPGC’s Managing Director, Manas Ranjan Rout, alongside key officials including Sr. VP-Operation Sukanta Mohapatra, Head HR Admin Dr. Ratikanta Dash, Project Head P.K. Patra, and other team leaders. Employees from various departments also contributed to the effort, ensuring the success of the campaign.
This cleanliness drive is part of the larger Swachh Bharat Mission, aimed at promoting sanitation and environmental awareness across the country. As part of the mission, OPGC will also conduct plantation drives under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” with several events planned leading up to Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
