Jharsuguda: District Collector Aboli Sunil Narwane on Thursday visited Lakhanpur and inspected health centers and schools. She visited the Palsada Primary Health Centre and interacted with patients. She also visited the Odisha Model School in Lakhanpur and interacted with students.
The block education officer and school headmaster were present during the visit of the district collector. She directed officials to install drinking water purification machines and dustbins in girls’ toilets.
During her visit, the District Collector visited classrooms and inquired about the teaching in the school with students. She appreciated the students who had requested her visit to the school.
The students drew attention to the cleanliness of the toilets and drinking water systems. The District Collector demanded showcause from the Block Education Officer, CRCC, and the Headmaster due to the disorder in the school.
