CM virtually inaugurated two State-of-the-art Diagnostic Centers at Jharsuguda District.
Jharsuguda : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday inaugurated two state-of-the-art diagnostic centers at Jharsuguda and Laikera through video conference.
These two diagnostic centers have been established in collaboration with Vedanta Ltd., with an estimated cost of 40 Crores. The Chief Minister hoped that this would help in providing better healthcare services in Jharsuguda district.
These two diagnostic centers will be managed by Krshnaa Diagnostic Ltd. These diagnostic Centres will provide Radiology tests Like MRI, CT scan, Ultrasound, X-ray, Mammography, ECG, and TMT while in Pathology tests, will provide Haematology, Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Microbiology, Serology, etc. at a minimal cost as per Central Government Health Services. As per sources, the Diagnostic Centers will be Operational 24x7x365 days for Laboratory Services, while for radiology services will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Addressing this occasion, the Chief Minister said that we are establishing new medical colleges and improving hospitals to provide better healthcare services to the people of the state in order to achieve the goal of a healthy and happy Odisha, whereas hundreds of doctors and paramedical staff are also being recruited. The Chief Minister also said that the Biju Health Kalyan Yojana has brought the biggest transformation in the field of healthcare. Lakhs of people are benefiting from this scheme every month. Along with this, both the rich and the poor are getting free treatment in government hospitals.
The Chief Minister said that quality healthcare is an indicator of development. That is why the government is continuing its efforts. It is a good thing that the government is joining the private sector in this. He said that the quality of healthcare will increase with the cooperation of all.
The Chief Minister thanked Vedanta Ltd. for his contribution to health infrastructure. Jharsuguda MLA Deepali Das, Jharsuguda District Collector Aboli Sunil Naravane, Jharsuguda SP Smit P. Parmar, and Sunil Gupta, CoO of Vedanta Ltd. attended the event.
