Laxmmi Bomb Trailer: Akshay Kumar transforms into a Transgender Ghost Makes This Horror Comedy A Laugh Riot
The trailer of Laxmmi Bomb, starring Kiara Advani and Akshay Kumar, revealed the film’s trailer. For the first time, Akshay has transformed into a transgender person. The actor tweeted the trailer on his official page and asked all to stop and watch it.
In just 24 hours, the trailer of Laxmmi Bomb becomes the most viewed movie trailer in India with 70 million views. The horror-comedy receive a positive response from not just fans or Bollywood celebrities but also transgender rights activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi.
Taking to Twitter, the activist praised the Laxmmi Bomb trailer and tweeted, “What a Diwali dhamaaka @akshaykumar and @advani_kiara!! #laxmmibombtrailer dekh ke maza aa gaya! Shayad naam mein hi kuch khaas hai.” Khiladi Kumar responded, “This means a lot. Itna pyaar barsane ke liye thank you, from one Laxmmi to another. Naam sach mein bahot khaas hai.”
The 3-minute-40-second trailer is a pack of horror and comedy. At first, Akshay visits Kiara’s family house to convince her father for their marriage. Her mother is afraid of shadows, and Akshay does his best to rid her of the fear. The situation becomes absurd when Akshay started acquires a feminine trait.
Laxmmi Bomb is a remake of super-hit Tamil horror comedy Kanchana by Raghava Lawrence, starring Lawrence, R Sarathkumar, and Raai Laxmi in lead roles. The film follows the journey of an innocent man possessed by a couple of spiteful ghosts to get justice for their murders.
The film gets a direct-to-digital release on Disney+ Hotstar on 9 November. The film also features Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Tarun Arora, and Ashwini Kalsekar.
