Belpahar : Mr. Priyabrata Panda has been appointed as the Managing Director of TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited, Belpahar and will take over the charge with effect from January 1, 2015. Mr. Panda who was the Chief Operating Officer of the company is taking over the charge from Dr. Arup Kumar Chattopadhyay.
Mr. Priyabrata Panda, a B. Tech. in Ceramic Technology from College of Ceramic Technology, Calcutta had started his career with TRL Krosaki in 1981 as a Gaduate Trainee. He is associated with the company holding various positions all along his 31 year of illustrious professional career. During his service, he successfully completed �Advanced Management Program� from IIM, Calcutta, �Productivity Enhancement Program� from AOTS, Japan and �Strategy Leadership Program� from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad & Executive Management program from Stern School of Business, New York University. He was instrumental in Setting up a 90,000 TPA ultra-modern refractories plant at China for manufacture of Magnesia Carbon refractories. He managed TRL China as CEO for four year since its inception. Mr. Priyabrata Panda has been conferred �Honorary Citizen� of Lioning province, China and during his time TRL China was awarded the best �Foreign Investor Company� in Lioning province, China.
With respect to his association with professional bodies, Mr. Panda is a Fellow of Indian Institute of Ceramics, Life Member of Indian Ceramic Society & Indian Institute of Metal. He has presented many technical papers on ceramics in various national & international seminars.
