Jharsuguda: In a major breakthrough, Jharsuguda �Police have busted a Laptop and TV Lifter Gang from Jharsuguda Police limits and recovered stolen goods worth Rs. 5 lacs on Tuesday Night.
The two accused has been identified as Rakesh Oram (23), Kajal Sarkar (19). Both the accused belonged to Pahadi Mandir area of Jharsuguda. �In this case, the receivers of the stolen goods have been also arrested. Receivers were identified as Hemsagar Pradhan (44), �Ashish Sahu (23) and Mulchand Meher (44) of Kolabira, Sanjeeb Kumar Sahu (24) , Anakar Bisoi (40) �, Bablu Verma (26) �and Surangi Govinda (30)
��Two Teams had been formed to nab the accused under Jharsuguda SDPO Raj Kishore Paikray and with the help of both the teams IIC Jharsuguda Town Police Station Nirmal Mohapatra, SI Munna Naik , SI Sanjeeb Pradhan, �SI Pranab Ku. Pradhan , SI R.N. Swain; we have arrested the two accused. The other two members of the gang are still at large.
Properties worth more than Rs. 5 Lacs, have been recovered from the accused which consists of LED TV�s, Laptops and Tablets. The accused have been involved in several theft cases registered at Jharsuguda Town Police Station. �In this case, seven more people of have been arrested and booked for purchasing the stolen goods from the accused.� Said by Jharsuguda S.P.
