Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda recently hosted the District Level Job Fair 2024-25 on 20th March 2025 at Jharsuguda Engineering School premises in Badheimunda. The event was organized by the District Administration Jharsuguda and District Skill Development cum Employment Office, Jharsuguda.
The event began with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Development Officer cum Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Jharsuguda, the Sub Collector of Jharsuguda, the District Skill Development cum Employment Officer, Jharsuguda, the Representative of the MLA Jharsuguda, and other government officials.
A total of 39 local companies from Jharsuguda took part in the job fair, offering 893 job vacancies across various sectors. Additionally, three Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) operating under OSDA Bhubaneswar in Jharsuguda district also participated. The event attracted an impressive turnout of 1,265 job seekers.
The participating companies included LN Metallics Limited, P and N Services, PAPL, Vaaman Engineers Ltd, Orissa Metalics Pvt Ltd, TRL Krosaki, Kainsara Infra Projects Private Limited, Lizmontagens India Pvt Ltd, Shree Krishna Enterprises, Proaid, GM Engineers, RMPL, Utkal Innovative, Jai Hanuman Udyog Ltd, Kousal Ceramics Pvt Ltd, Apar Industries Ltd, Seven Star Steel Ltd, Odyssey Motors Pvt Ltd, Ultra Tech Cement Ltd (Jharsuguda Cement Works), SMC Power Generation Ltd, Epsilon Carbon Ashoka Pvt Ltd, Thakur Prasad Sao and Sons Pvt Ltd, Binod Prasad Mishara and Sons LLP, Bhagwan Das Contractor (CO Godrej and Boyce MFG CO LTD), SSE Contracts Pvt Ltd, Western Carriers India Ltd, Saikripa Food Services Pvt Ltd, NTPC GE Power Services Pvt Ltd, Infinity Ventures, Khimji – KD and Sons Pvt Ltd, Laxmi Sales and Services, Punjab Cloth Store, ANG Retails (Anand World), Zomato, Navdurga Groups, Creative Infra and Maanvi Projects and Contracts, Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd, and Taron Materials Handling Pvt Ltd.
A total of 69 candidates received offer letters during the event. Rajendra Mechanical Private Limited distributed 15 offer letters for the post of Operation Assistant. LN Metallics Limited issued six offer letters for the post of Field Operator, while WCIL provided one offer letter for the post of Forklift Operator. SSE Contracts Pvt Ltd issued two offer letters for the post of Forklift Operator. Bhagwan Das Contractor (CO Godrej and Boyce MFG CO LTD) provided six offer letters for the post of Forklift Operator.
Shree Krishna Enterprises distributed 10 offer letters for the posts of Khalasi, Supervisor, Shift Coordinator, and Field Operator. Orissa Metalics Pvt Ltd issued 10 offer letters for the post of DET (Pallet Electrical). Apar Industries Ltd offered five positions for Trainees, while Seven Star Steel Ltd provided two offer letters for Electrical Trainee positions. Lizmontagens India Pvt Ltd issued three offer letters for the post of POT Manager. Ember Coal Beneficiation Pvt Ltd distributed three offer letters for the post of Tally Accountant, Site Supervisor, and Purchase Manager. Creative Infra and Maanvi Projects and Contracts issued one offer letter for the post of Site Engineer. TPSL distributed five offer letters for the post of DET.
The offer letters were handed out by the District Skill Development cum Employment Officer, Jharsuguda, and the Principal of Jharsuguda Engineering School.
