Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir, Jharsuguda Hosted “Aarohan”

Jharsuguda: The 29th annual celebration of Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir, located in Balijhori, titled “Aarohan – 2024”, was successfully conducted. Professor Uma Shankar Dash, Regional Director of the Odisha Government’s Higher Education Department, attended as the Chief Guest. He commended the school’s functioning and educational methods while emphasizing the importance of value-based education. Deepak Choudhary, Project Director of the Art of Living, served as the keynote speaker, highlighting the role of strong self-confidence in achieving success. The event began with the Chief Guest inaugurating the school’s wall magazine and a special project prepared by the students.

The Principal Sanjukta Dash, presented the annual report. Dignitaries such as the school’s management committee chairman, Chinmaya Kumar Jena, coordinator Pabitra Mohan Behera, senior members Trilochan Pradhan, Jadumani Pandey, Prabir Muduli, Tapas Ray Chaudhuri and Trinath Gual were present. They honored the chief guest, keynote speaker, Shyama Charan Acharyaand other invited dignitaries with bouquets and mementos. Outstanding students who achieved top marks in CBSE’s Class 10 and 12 exams and those excelling in various disciplines were awarded.

The school magazine, “Reflections,” was also unveiled. Senior teachers Jagadish Prasad Panigrahi, Subhendu Kumar Meher, and Mohit Kumar Deep managed the stage proceedings. Vice Principal Manoranjan Guman Singh extended the vote of thanks. Under the guidance of dance instructor Santosh Das, Prince Kiran, and other teachers, students performed vibrant cultural programs that captivated the audience till late at night. Special guests included Soumya Patel, coordinator of the Parent-Teacher Association, and other prominent figures. The successful execution of the event was supported by CCA coordinators Kamalesh Sahu and Sandhya Rani Sahu, along with all teachers and the school’s student council team.
