Students of Sarbhal High School Visit HDFC Bank, Sarbahal
Jharsuguda: In an effort to promote financial literacy and familiarize students with banking operations, a group of students from Sarbhal High School visited the HDFC Bank branch in Sarbahal on Wednesday. The visit aimed to provide an educational experience and help students understand the functioning of modern banking.
The students were warmly welcomed by bank officials and taken through a comprehensive tour of the branch. During the visit, the students were introduced to various banking services, including account management, digital banking, and loan procedures. They learned about the importance of saving, responsible financial practices, and the significant role that banks play in economic growth.
Interactive sessions followed where students actively participated by asking questions about different banking services. Topics such as fixed deposits, ATM operations, and online transactions were discussed in detail. The bank officials, including Branch Manager Sourya Ranjan Mohapatra, appreciated the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the students throughout the session.
Indrajit Biswas, Sarabjit Kaur Teller Authorizer, and Tarunkanta Mohanty Authoriser, also contributed to the presentations, enriching the students’ understanding of banking processes.
