Sahodaya Level Extempore Speech Competition 2024 was Held at Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir, Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda : The Sahodaya level Extempore Speech Competition 2024 was successfully organized today at Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir, Jharsuguda. The event was inaugurated by A.N. Manikandan, Secretary of SSCWO, SBP, with a large number of CBSE schools from Western Odisha participating in the competition.
The Principal of the host school, Sanjukta Dash, welcomed the dignitaries and emphasized the importance of scholasticism and innovation in shaping the future careers of students across various fields of life. She encouraged the participants to cultivate knowledge and skills that will help them excel in their future endeavors.
The competition covered various contemporary themes, including the impacts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), climate change and its challenges, and environmental sustainability. The students were given the opportunity to showcase their creativity and spontaneity on these critical issues.
The judging panel for the event included distinguished personalities such as Rabindra Ku. Debta, retired Principal, and Bijay Ku. Mahapatra, PGT Physics, who evaluated the students’ performances based on creativity, clarity, and depth of understanding.
Debojit Das from Delhi Public School secured the first position, while Animita Satpathy from Vikas the Concept School and Sneha Mishra from Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir won the second and third positions, respectively. A.N. Manikandan, Secretary of SSCWO, presented the prizes to the winners.
The event was a great success, inspiring all participants and schools involved. Senior English teacher J.P. Panigrahi played a key role in organizing the event, with the CCA team, including Kamalesh Sahu, Sandhyarani Sahoo, B.C. Barick, and Tonaliza Mohanty, working tirelessly to ensure the smooth execution of the competition.
