District-Level Children’s Day and Fair Program Held

Jharsuguda : Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari and Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy expressed the importance of encouraging children to develop their inherent qualities and creativity on the occasion of Children’s Day, celebrated with a fair program. The event was organized at the local MCL Community Hall, with participation from students of 65 high schools and higher secondary schools in the district.

District Collector Aboli Sunil Naravane highlighted that the purpose of the event was to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit among students from the school level and to encourage them to engage in unique activities during their free time alongside their studies.

The fair featured 65 stalls showcasing a variety of artistic creations made by students, including handicrafts, decorative items, Sambalpuri jewelry made from fabric, plants, and a range of food items.

The event saw the attendance of SP Smit P Parmar, Chief Development Officer of the zilla parishad Prabir Kumar Nayak, District Education Officer Radhakant Gadtia, along with district-level officials, teachers, and a large number of students.
