Jharsuguda: The Rotary Club of Jharsuguda City celebrated its inaugural Installation Ceremony at the Jharsuguda Pipul Utkal Continental. The event was graced by Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy as the chief guest, alongside Ajay Pandey, COO of Power at Vedanta Ltd., and Rtn.Alam Singh Roopra, who served as the Guest of Honour.
During the charter ceremony, Rtn. Vikash Badhan took office as President for the year 2024-25. Joining him were Rtn. CA Manish Shah as Vice-President, Rtn. Navin Mishra as Secretary, and Rtn. Ashok Kedia as Treasurer, among other appointed members. The oath-taking ceremony was held in the presence of Chief Guest Tankadhar Tripathy and District Governor Nominee 2024-25, Rtn. Alam Singh Roopra.
In his inaugural speech, President Rtn. Vikash Badhan pledged to initiate projects aimed at maintaining the walking trail at the Government High School and renovating and maintaining of Jharsuguda Muktidham.
The event saw participation from esteemed members of various social organizations in Jharsuguda, press members, and Rotary Club members from other districts. The program was presided over by Rtn. Suresh Tulshyan, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Rtn. Navin Mishra.
