57 Senior Citizens from Jharsuguda Embark on Pilgrimage
Jharsuguda : 57 senior citizens from Jharsuguda district embarked on a pilgrimage to Calcutta and Kamakhya Temple under the state government’s senior citizen pilgrimage scheme.
The pilgrims left Sambalpur by special train along with pilgrims from eight other districts. They were given a farewell salute at Sankrusti Bhavan before their departure.
The pilgrims will return on the 12th of December, District Culture Officer Anil K?rk?ta, District Information, and Public Relations Officer Ajay J?na, and District Art and Culture Association Vice President Surang Pradhan flagged off the Tour. Section Officer Basant B?h?ra of the Lakhanpur Block Office and BSSO Ratand?ep H?mbram joined the pilgrims as escort enthusiasts. Niranjan Mali, Rabindra Nial, Rajesh S?th, Sand??p Naik, King Kong Naik, and Sam??r Kisan assisted with the entire management. Senior citizens und?rw?nt health check-ups before their trip.
