Jharsuguda: The 2nd (Odisha) Air Squadron (Flying) NCC conducted the 7th day of its 2nd annual training camp at the stadium premises in Jharsuguda Malimunda on Saturday.
On the morning of the day, the cadets experienced microlight simulator flying. In the afternoon, they went to the banks of River Ib near Talpatia village in Jharsuguda district to make the government’s Puneet Sagar campaign a success. The cadets cleaned the garbage from the riverside and performed a play to make the villagers aware of the true purpose of the campaign.
The villagers understood that the Punit Sagar practice was associated with the cleanliness of rivers, canals, and swamps. In the evening, the RTO of Jharsuguda district came to the camp and advised the cadets to follow the traffic rules by explaining the rules of human and vehicular movement on the road.
On this occasion, the RTO organized various activities on the camp premises for the cadets to have a good time and safe passage.
The NCC cadets’ participation in the Puneet Sagar campaign and their learning of traffic rules are commendable. These activities demonstrate their commitment to social service and their awareness of the importance of following traffic rules.
