Young Star Charitable Trust honors the families of 10 freedom fighters of Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda : On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, Youngs Star Charitable Trust honored the family members of 10 freedom fighters of Jharsuguda.

On this occasion, 105-year-old freedom fighter Anshmani Pujari’s brother-in-law Mitrabanu hoisted the flag. In the coming days, Jharsuguda District Freedom Fighters Remembrance Forum will be formed. Among the freedom fighters honored were Shaheed Ganesh Upadhyay, Singabaga, Bihari Lal Tanti (Mungapada), Buddhadev Mahananda (Talpatia), Chandra Bagarti, (Mangalbazar), Sukhdev Srivas, (Mangalbazar), Chamanlal Srivas, (Mungapada), Paruttam Panda, (Sarbahal), Chintamani Pujari, (Panchpada), Balaramdas Mafidar, (Cox Colony), Kastram Tanti and others were felicitated by the guests invited by the Trust. Sandeep Awasthy, Dr. Dibendu Sahu, Bal Gobind Mishra, Harish Ganatra, Rabindra Dixit, Tahlu Sahu, Sajid Hussain, Hiralal Lokchandani, Aditya Pujari attended as guests. Certificates and prizes were awarded to a total of 25 students who had participated in the district-level drawing and painting competition organized by the trust. Various dance academies and school students performed patriotic dances very attractively.

Bibekananda Mishra, Director of Young Stars Charitable Trust, introduced the guest and gave the welcome address while President Eng. Arabinda Barik presided over the meeting. Cultural Secretary Alok Chandra Pangirahi gave the vote of thanks This program is being nurtured in Sarbahal for the last 12 years.

Among the Trust workers are Arabinda Barik, Bibekananda Mishra, Fakir Mohan Barik, Rajesh Padhi, Vijay Saigal, Samir Ranjan Das, Abhas Dixit, Alok Chandra Panigarahi, Tinku Naik, Raj Das, Raja Das, Abhijit Barik, Shubham Meher, Abhijit Sahu, Bhargava, Raja Maharana and others were present.

In the blood donation camp organized by the National Day Celebration Committee and Young Star Charitable Trust at Manmohan School, the people of the district donated 77 units of blood on the 77th Independence Day.
