Jharsuguda adminstration to launch “Sanjivani” programme

Jharsuguda: The district administration of Jharsuguda will launch an awareness programme on July 23 to prevent various social and health problems among women who are pregnant before the age of marriage. The programme, which has been named “Sanjivani,” will be implemented in all the blocks of the district.

Collector Aboli Sunil Narwane said that the programme is being launched to address the needs of women who are pregnant before the age of marriage. These women are often excluded from government schemes and programmes, and they face a number of social and health challenges. The “Sanjivani” programme will aim to provide these women with the support they need to have a safe and healthy pregnancy.

The programme will include a series of awareness-raising activities, such as counselling sessions, health camps, and educational workshops. The aim of these activities is to increase awareness of the risks associated with early pregnancy and provide women with information about how to have a safe and healthy pregnancy.

The “Sanjivani” programme is being implemented in partnership with a number of government and non-government organisations. The Collector said that she is confident that the programme will make a positive difference in the lives of women who are pregnant before the age of marriage.
