Jharsuguda : Jharsuguda District Collector Aboli Sunil Naravane inspected the Old Age Home (Bharasha) which is dedicated to the welfare of the senior citizens of Jharsuguda District on Monday.
Old Age Home is Supported by DMF & District Administration & Implemented by People’s Forum since 2019, at present a total of 54 senior citizens (both males and females) are staying at the center.
Sanjay Kumar Jethy, Assistant Vice President & Western Zone Head of People’s Forum showed her the entire campus and explained the situation of the center.
District Collector also interacted with the residents’ inmates about their health condition and ensure the service provided by the implementing agency. She inspected the situation and instructed the other district administrative officials to solve the Issues like strengthening the infrastructure. The present roof was damaged and the residents are facing problems during the rainy season. After verifying the conditions of the center, Collector, Jharsuguda instructed the MCL, Lakhanpur branch to repair the roof as soon as possible and to make another residential building. She also participated in the 78th Birthday celebration of one inmate named Jaladhara Bhue.
District Social Security Officer, Mrs. Gopalaxmi Hota, Sub Divisional Social Security Officer, Mrs. Pratibha Behera, BDO Lakhanpur, Mr. Jayanta Sahu, District Legal Service Secretary Miss. Sneha Das, MCL Lakhanpur Branch Officials, and other District Administrative Officers were also present during the visit.
