Jharsuguda : Mission Ashalok celebrated it’s 4th foundation day in the presence of Jharsuguda Dsit. Collector Saroj Kumar Samal, Jharsuguda SP Bikash Chandra Dash, Addl. District Magistrate Lankeswar Amat,CDMO Dolamani Patel, DCPO Sunanda Maharana,SSSO Smt. Pratibha Behera, Educationalist cum social worker Mrs. Kabita Panda, Lecturer Mrs. Mandakini Satpathy, IIC Amitabh panda, President and members of Anchalika Vikas Parishad of Jharsugda and other social workers and intellectual personalities of Jharsuguda District and Media personnel. The chief guests were greeted and cake cuttign ceremony was held in the presence of all guests, staffs and inmates. On this occasion, various cultural programs along with role play was performed by team Mission Ashalok. There was some competition among inmates and prizes were distributed by the guests among inmates. The Dist. Collector visited rooms of inmates and had a small discussion with them. At present 106 mentally ill male people are being treated in this centre. Every day inmates are getting treatment, training,yoga and meditation for recovering from their mental illness.
On this occasion Dist. Collector declared the extension of another 50 seat capacity of mission ashaloka. The program was completed well by all the staffs of people’s forum. Lastly, the program head of Western Zone, people’s forum sanjay Jethy ended the program by thanking everyone.
