Brajrajnagar : In a tragic incident, a 14-year-old boy gets drowned at IB river on Saturday morning under Brajrajnagar Police station,
The deceased has been identified as Rintu Paira(14), a resident of Lamatibahal, Brajrajnagar
As per the report, the victim and his brother have gone to play near IB ghat, when his leg slipped inside the IB river, as he was not knowing how to swim, he got drowned. The incident took place at 6.30 a.m. at IB Ghat near Orient Paper Mill. After almost one hour of the search operation, his body was fished out by the Fire fighting team and he was taken to the nearest hospital where he was declared brought dead.
