Jharsuguda : A 21-year-old dead body of a girl was found near IB Railway Station Track area on Wednesday, Jharsuguda Government Railway Police Said on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Monica Joshi, (21), a resident of Lamtibahal, under Brajrajnagar Police Station Limits.
As per her father, Suresh Joshi said, �On Wednesday, she had gone out from the home to go Computer Class around 12:30 noon, after that she never returned back to home, when she did not return back to home, then we had started searching for her but still had got no clue and by Thursday morning we had reported a missing report at Brajrajnagar Police station, where police showed some photographs of a girl which was looking like my daughter on verification, it was my daughter. I suspect something wrong has happened with my daughter. I want police to do proper enquiry into this matter.�
Jharsuguda Government Railway Police Sub Inspector Jyotsana Seth said, �On Wednesday we had recovered an unidentified dead body of the girl lying near the railway track of IB Railway Station, later on, Thursday, the family members had identified the girl, from the clothes. As per the preliminary report, she might have tried to go somewhere on a train and might have fallen from a train. However, we are investigating the matter and have sent the dead body for Post Mortem.�
