Mirzapur 2 Trailer: The Battle of Throne is still on with more intense action sequences
The wait of a much-awaited trailer of Mirzapur 2 is out, and it is expected high on fire with lots of blood-shed, actions, violence and emotions.
Mirzapur 2 looks promising and sure to entertain the audiences. The season 1 ended with a cliffhanger, leaving Munna Tripathi (Divyenndu), Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Golu (Shweta Tripathi) to settle their scores among themselves.
The trailer begins with Kaleen Bhaiya setting new rules for the people of Mirzapur, while his son Munna is adding up more rules. Meanwhile, Fazal’s Guddu Pandit is back to take revenge on the death of his brother (Vikrant Massey) and his wife (Shriya Pilgaonkar). Interestingly, Golu (Shweta Tripathi) who was portraying the role of good girl image, stayed away from politics in season 1 is all set to join the race to the throne of Mirzapur.
New players are also joining the game this season, like Vijay Varma, Amit Sial and Priyanshu Painyuli. Rati Shankar Pandey’s son Sharad Shukla, Dadda Tyagi (Lilliput) and his grandson played by Vijay Varma are also in fight of the throne of Mirzapur from Kaleen Bhaiya.
“We created the first season with the intent to ‘get our hands dirty’ with a pure hinterland drama; what surprised us was the worldwide love that’s grown for our local show,’ said the show’s creator Puneet Krishna.
The second season is more intense, and action sequences have increased too. Deaths have become more violent and graphic. The first season of Mirzapur received an overwhelming response. It remains to see how the fans will react to the new season.
Mirzapur Season 2 is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 23, 2020, worldwide. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani produce it under their banner Excel Media & Entertainment.
