Dil Bechara: AR Rahman, Shreya Ghoshal & others to pay a virtual musical tribute to late Sushant Singh Rajput on July 22
Sushant Singh Rajput, Who committed suicide on 14th June 2020 leaving the entire Bollywood as well as his fans disheartened in Wreak. Sushant will be last seen in the romantic movie Dil Bechara, co-starring Sanjana Sanghi. The movie is set to release, 24th July 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar.
Ahead of its release, A.R Rahman along with a few more artists including Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Mohit Chauhan, Jonita Gandhi, Sashaa Tirupati, Hriday Gattani, Amitabh Bhattacharya and others will be paying a virtual musical tribute to honour the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Wednesday.i.e. 22nd July 2020. The virtual music concert will start at 12noon.
The oscar award winner took to Twitter to announce his tribute. He wrote, “Catch us on 22nd July at 12 pm @disneyplushsip & @sonymusicindia for a musical tribute to our beloved #SushantSinghRajput #DilBechara (sic).”
Mukesh Chhabra took Instagram and thanked A.R Rahman for such a brilliant tribute. He wrote, Thank you so much @arrahman sir for doing this for Sushant, a beautiful tribute dedicated to him. Out of his own love arrahman has created this beautiful gesture, a big thank you, will forever be grateful. The trailer received a tremendous response from the audiences, overtaking the likes of Hollywood movie, Avengers: Infinity war. The songs of the movie are stuck with the audiences and the appearances of Sushant’s in every song makes the audiences much more heartfelt. The film is the official Hindi remake of Hollywood film, The Fault In Our Stars and also features Saif Ali Khan, Swastika Mukherjee, Milind Gunaji, Sahil Vaid, and others in the lead roles. It also marks the directorial debut of Mukesh Chhabra.
