MCL signs MOU with Jharsuguda Administration for the establishment of COVID Care Centre Facility at Bandhbahal

Jharsuguda : A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Jharsuguda District Administration and Mahanadi Coalfield Limited. (MCL) for the establishment of COVID Care Centre at Bandhbahal on Friday.

Jharsuguda District Collector Saroj Kumar Samal stated, ” A 70 bedded COVID Care Centre will be set up a Bandhabhal by MCL. Initially, Five Doctors along with Staff and Nurses, Utility Service, House Keeping, Foods etc will be taken care of by MCL. This will be very beneficial for the district.”

Mahanadi Coalfield Limited, Director Personnel, Keshav Rao, said, ” We got an opportunity to serve the people of Jharsuguda District during this crisis period. We are grateful to extend this help. Our hospital present at Bandhabahal will be converted into to COVID Health Care Centre, and patients will be provided treatment free of cost. This will be done under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund of MCL.”
