Junior clerk on Vigilance Net
Jharsuguda : Vigilance sleuths on Thursday caught a Junior Clerk of Block Education Office, Lakhanpur under Jharsuguda District while accepting a bribe of Rs. 6000 to pass the arrears bills of teachers.
The junior clerk was identified as Arun Kumar Padhi, a resident of Belpahar
Jharsuguda Vigilance DSP Dilip Kar Said, “As per the complainant, Satyanarayan Behera, the junior clerk Arun Kumar Padhi had demanded Rs. 6000 as a bribe to pass the increment arrears bill of the teachers. Based on this, an FIR was done at Sambalpur Vigilance Office on Wednesday and based on the complaint on Thursday, �we along with our team had caught Arun Kumar Padhi red-handed while accepting a bribe amount of Rs. 6,000 from the complainant. We have detained the accuse and conducting a house search in his Belpahar residence. However, the investigation is currently going on.”
