VSKP-AMRITSAR HIRAKUD EXPRESS to run Via Jharsuguda Road Railway Station from 18th December
According to an EcoR statement, Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam tri-weekly Hirakud Express is the first train to be diverted from Tuesday onwards. It will run via Jharsuguda Road � IB-Belpahar stations � running on this route until further notice.
To ensure that no passengers face any inconvenience, �Sambalpur Railway administration has ensured talk to every reserved passenger and arranged an adequate number of free bus services for transportation of passengers from Jharsuguda to Jharsuguda Road and vice-versa. Such free bus services will continue for quite some time for the passengers.� Owing to the diversion of this train via Jharsuguda Road, 45 minutes of running time will be saved of Hirakud Express in both directions. It is planned to develop the Jharsuguda Road station as a model and best station in Western Odisha.
DIVERSION OF VISAKHAPATNAM-AMRITSAR HIRAKUD EXPRESS BYPASSING JHARSUGUDA MAIN STATION

01.Train Number 18507/18508 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express has started getting diverted by passing Jharsuguda Main Railway Station from today.
02.Train will run via Jharsuguda Road-Ib-Belpahar bypassing Jharsuguda Main Railway Station.
03.This train is a tri-weekly train and similar arrangements will be made for bypassing of the train avoiding Jharsuguda Main Station in return direction also.
04.East Coast Railway, Sambalpur Railway Division has made arrangements of FREE BUS FACILITIES for passengers for to and fro journey between Jharsuguda Main and Jharsuguda Road Stations. The distance between these two Stations is maximum 1.5 KMs.
05.All essential facilities have been provided at Jharsuguda Road Station. DRM/Sambalpur Dr. Jaideep Gupta has already prepared an elaborate plan to make Jharsuguda Road Station one of the best Stations in Odisha State in the near future by providing the best available passenger amenities.
