Tight security arrangements in place for Modi’s visit to Jharsuguda on 22nd September
Jharsuguda :�Odisha Police has put in place elaborate security arrangements in the Jharsuguda ahead of �Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled on 22nd September.
“As many as 50 platoons of police force along with 300 officers, three Superintendent of Police rank and six Commandant Rank will be deployed as a part of the PM’s security arrangements. Anti Terrorist Units will also be deployed.� Even several CCTV has been installed at various locations” said��Satya Brata Bhoi,�DIG of Police, Northern Range
“We have also barricaded around 4.5k.m. , which will be the route for PM Modi to reach the public meeting venue at Amlipali Ground. We will also�emphasis on the traffic arrangements so that the people visiting at the venue do not face any problems.” �he added
On Thursday, Additional DG of Police Y.B. Khurania had visited �Jharsuguda airport and public meeting place and reviewed the security arrangements with Special protection group (SPG) team and district administration officials
On 22nd September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Jharsuguda and would Inaugurate the newly built Jharsuguda Airport. He will also Flag of flight under Udaan Scheme from Jharsuguda to Raipur.
Additionally, he would also Inaugurate Jharsuguda � Sardega (present in Sundargarh District) railway line, Greenfield Open Cast Mine located at Garjanbahal, Sundargarh and Commencement of Coal Production and transportation from Dulanga Coal Mine, Sundargarh.
PM will also address a Public meeting to be held at Amlipali, where arrangements are being made for more than 2 Lakhs people.
