Jharsuguda :� Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. celebrated 34th Foundation Day on 14th November.
Managing Director Mr Indranil Dutta flagged off a marathon at 7.30am today from Rajiv Gandhi Ground till ITPS plant gate and back. More than 200 employees and 100 of their children participated in the marathon.
Mr Abhishek Singh, Mr Thanasagar Padhan and Mr Jay Krishna Kumar,� clinched first three positions respectively in the marathon in the employee’s category. Later Swachh Abhiyan (cleanliness drive) was organized in and around Rajiv Gandhi ground of IB Thermal Power Station.
At 10.30am Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Bijaylal Biswal inaugurated a blood donation camp organized at the IB Thermal Hospital. Director visited the patients admitted to the ITPS hospital to know their condition and distribute fruits. Shortly after he inaugurated a new ambulance of IB Thermal hospital.
Blood Donation camp was done in collaboration with Red Cross in which 50 units of blood was collected.
Employees and their family members donated blood. Two day-long cultural programmes and Fete by members of IB Thermal Ladies Club was followed by Cake cutting� by Dr Biswal at the Rajiv Gandhi Ground at 7.00pm. The Cultural programme shall continue till 15th of November 2017.
