He said Since my father was a poor labourer who always wanted me to grow faster and work to aid to the family income. I had to fight with my family to go to school.
He managed to find a place in a government-run school, but he ran away from home when he was a teenager because his parents insisted him to stop studying and start earning his keep.
He had to live on the streets, before meeting a teacher who spotted his potential and helped him graduate from university in Science from DAV College, Kanpur.
Inspired by my mentor, he started teaching to the underprivileged students. He doesn’t have the required qualification to become a teacher of school but the inspiration he got from his mentor, drives him to teach.
He believes he can make more of an impact on literacy through his work like this.
Kumar has already visited Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. He said he usually gives one month to each state and then move to another state.
Aditya had found a place in Limca book of records for running a mobile cycle school in slums and street. His main aim is to tell the importance of the Education to the parents of the children.
