Jharsuguda : Young stars’ club of Jharsuguda celebrated 67th republic day and its 6th foundation day on the 26th January. In this Occasion the Chief guest were Kishor Kumar Mohanty WODC chairperson, along with Star guest Padhmashree Dr. Chaturbhuja Meher (Master craftsmanship in tie and dye handloom weaving ) Chief speaker Dr. Prabhas Singh (MP Bargarh constituency) and other dignitaries. In this event , a felicitation progamme was also observed for those who have given their outstanding contribution to the society, Padhmashree Dr. Chaturbhuja Meher, Soumya Ranjan sahoo Visually challenged lecturer, Akshya Tiwari Visually challenged scholar, Bhubanananda Pani, Fakir Mohan Padhee, Nishamani Pradhan (Educationalist), Tapaswilal Tiwari Senior Reporter, Sahadeb Tripathy President Utkal Kalyan Seba Sadan, Brundamal, as social worker, Rakesh Oram (National level sports man, son of late Mangaraj Maharana ( Social worker ).
Various Cultural Programme was also being performed by Jhadesweri special school, UKSS brundamal, and student from Ashakiran and Sambalpuri cultural dance was performed by national and international awardee film artist of Adim Bichar.
