Dulduli 2016 Concludes
Jharsuguda : �The three-day long 14th Jharsuguda Lok Mahotsav Dulduli 2016 came to an end with much fanfare at the Man Mohan M.E. School Ground here on Sunday.
Thousands of people came here together to witness performances by local folk artists, who had congregated for the cultural extravaganza.
The concluding day started with an Odissi Dance. After the Dance, the thousands of viewers who had gathered at the Man Mohan M.E. Ground were also treated to several traditional dance forms of western Odisha like Bajniya Dance from Gangadhar Chatriya Dance group from Titlagarh, Panchrasi Dance by students of Sarasmal School, Dhapa Dance from Samleshwari Club, Sambalpuri Dance, Dalkhai and �Danda Dance .
Later in the morning session a discussion seminar was organised on the topic of Development and promoting Sports in Jharsuguda Dist. Soon after a�Classical Music which was being performed by the local artists of Railway Sanskrutik Sangh was highly apprised by the audience.
��This was really a grand opportunity for the local artist of Jharsuguda to perform on this huge platform like Dulduli. I was enthralled to see some of the dance form performed by the students of schools.� said B.K. Baiksi, a visitor.
The three-day folk festival began on January 1st. More than 480 artistes of 31 cultural groups performed at the festival this year. Apart from the cultural shows, Pallishree Mela was also organised during the folk festival, which attracted a big crowd.
�For us it is proud to be part of this Lok Mahotsav, as it is being celebrated on the occasion of our District formation day.
