Summer Cricket Camp by OPGC

Banharpalli:�The 14 days long summer cricket�camp�for kids of OPGC employees and periphery areas concluded yesterday. The camp organised by by OPGC at Rajiv Gandhi ground of IB Thermal Power Station aimed at coaching the aspiring young cricketers by the renowned cricket players of the State.� The camp started on 5th�of May. Director(operation)� Mr Indranil Dutta inaugurated the�campby addressing the kids and batting. Chief� Medical Officer Dr Bijaylal Biswal, Chief of Administration Mr C R Swain, Dy. Manager of CSR Dr.Dilip Sebak, Chief Of HR & Admin Mr Pradeep Patra. In the closing ceremony held yesterday, Head (HR & Admin) Mr Pradeep Patra joined as the Chief Guest.

Total 86 boys between 11 years to 19 years of age took the benefit of this programme, out of which 38 are from periphery villages of IB Thermal Power Station. �Reputed national & state level players were hired by OPGC to train the kids. They are ex-India under 17 captain Mr Atish Jena, ex-Ranji player Mr Binod Singh, ex-India under 19 player Mr Kamalesh Sharma, Jharsuguda district� player Mr Nitesh Sharma, Odisha Ranji star Mr Natraj Behera and Mr. Waltier Topno.
