Jharsuguda:��Journalists and Citizens of Jharsuguda held a rally and a ‘silent protest’ to condemn the brutal gang-rape of a photojournalist in Mumbai.
The protesters expressed dissatisfaction over the deteriorating law and order situation in the country.
Members of the Jharsuguda Press Club, Baristha Nagarik Sangh, Anchalik Vikash Parisad, NGO SEHEDA , Purnabasti Mahila Sangathan, Chamber of Commerce Marwari Yuva Manch and various citizens of Jharsuguda, participated in the protest rally, started from Jhanda Chowk to Station Chowk. The Protesters kept their mouth wrapped with black ribbon to mark the protest.
