Jharsuguda Civil Court Inaugurated
Jharsuguda:�An independent Civil Court of Jharsuguda District was inaugurated on Saturday by Justice Bijay Krishna Patel, Odisha High Court, Cuttack. In presence of Jharsuguda S.P. Dilip Kumar Deo and Jharsuguda Collector Smt. Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar.
Jharsuguda Bar Association, President, Dinesh Kumar Jain Said that, �It was our long awaiting demand which has been fulfilled today, earlier Jharsuguda district had only Criminal and Session courts but now with an establishment of an Independent Civil Court it has became a fully fledged Court and in turn it will help in speedy hearing of Land related cases which are pending since 2004.�
Independent Civil Court would make life easier for the land dispute cases which was were earlier pending for disposal in the court of CJM cum Civil Judge (Sr. Division).
S. N. Mishra Registrar (Inspection) Odisha High Court said that, �Earlier CJM and Civil Court was looked together by a single Judicial Officer, but now due to establishment of an independent Civil Court (Sr. Division) it would help in hearing of �land acquisition related cases which has grown up by huge numbers due to the Industrialization development in the district. At present around 1495 cases have been still pending with Civil Judge (Senior Division).
Answering to the question regarding the vacancy of post in Jharsuguda, He said that all court in Jharsuguda has judges, but Grade third and fourth officer�s posts are lying vacant which will be filled within a month or two.
In this function, Sachidananda Sahu , District & Sessions Judge , S.R. Bohidar , Additional District & Session Judge , Nilakantha Tripathy , Chief Judicila Magistrate , S.K. Behari , Civil Judge (Senior Divison) , Smt. I.M. Bhuyan, S.D.J.M. , S. Patra Civil Judge (Junior Division) Cum J.M.F.C. . P.K. Behera J.M.F.C. and Manmeet Singh Arora, Court Manager along with Jharsuguda Bar Association members were present.
