5 NCC Cadets of Laxminarayan College Honoured for Participation in Republic Day Parade at New Delhi

Jharsuguda: In a historic achievement, five NCC cadets from Laxminarayan College, Jharsuguda, participated in the prestigious Republic Day Parade 2026 at New Delhi, bringing immense pride to their college and the entire district.

After two months of rigorous training, the cadets successfully represented their institution at the national level—a remarkable feat highlighting their dedication, discipline, and patriotic spirit.

Upon their return, the college organized a felicitation programme to honor their achievement. Teachers, students, and senior officials, including Mr. Tapan Kumar Barik, Dr. Swarnamayi Purohit, Captain Manas Ranjan Acharya, and several others, extended their heartfelt congratulations.

During the event, cadets Nivas Banchar (Army), Sagar Kishan (Naval), Nihar Ranjan Mahakud, Sachin Panigrahi, and Sarita Bijar (Air Force) shared their experiences, emphasizing the training, discipline, and values instilled during the Republic Day camp.
