Jharsuguda : An attempt to robbery was failed at SBI Evening Branch situated at Sarbahal. However, the culprits didn’t got any chance to break inside the locker and get access to the lockers.
The culprits who are being suspected to be in 4 in numbers , broke into the office by cutting the window rods with help of a heavy metal and blade commonly known as a Hexa blades. This incident took place in between 2.19 – 2.30 A.M. in morning.
As per the SBI,Evening Branch Manager, Amar Chandra Agarwal, who told us that the culprits were well known with the bank as seen in the CCTV footage, the culprits were wearing mask over their head and immediately they switchoff the lights of the rooms and walked in with help of a torch.
On information of this incident, Badmal OIC Mr. Kailash Chandra Acharya rushed on the spot along with his team and informed the Dog squad. The sniffer dog took the lead to the Budapara located behind the bank.
The Investigation is still on to nab the culprits.
