The film takes you the education system in India and story revolves around the life of an ordinary rickshaw driver, Buchi (Adil Hussain), who transports kids of rich people to a Well glorified English medium private school in Jharkhand and his son Bulbul (Shubham) goes to a government school. Buchi believes to become a wealthy person a person needs to be educated from an English medium school. So, he decides to get admission of his capable son into the highly respected school of the district. Pareeksha is not just several exams his son has to pass to first get into the English medium school and then be able to write the life-altering CBSE board exams, its also a test of how far Buchchi will go to facilitate that dream. While his mother, Radhika( Priyanka Bose) works in a utensil factory to sustains the daily needs. Buchi’s deviation towards the criminal life is shown how a good man can turn into a criminal to do whatever he can do to make the impossible amount of money needed for the boys fees and other school expenses.

Apart from this hurdle, Bulbul a clever and talented kid struggles into the English speaking environment. He becomes the topper of the English medium school despite being read from Hindi Medium government school but falls behind in proficiency of English with his classmates. It shows the conflicts between the class of child and education in India. The films drag the upper cast and the rich people interviewing the trustee,” Humare Bache Kya Muh Dikhayenge” and yelling on Buchi “Apna Aukat Bhul Gaya kya”.

Adil Hussain skins into the character of a rickshaw puller. He is phenomenal, terrific and Stupendous. He is believable as Buchchi, the soles of his feet dusty, the lengthening arch of his back as he takes a slope, with his rickshaw filled with too many children. Priyanka Bose is ably supported, who take care of his family and supports his family financially and emotionally.

Packed with solid performances all around including the minor characters. The story of a poor man, who dreams big and go beyond the box to make his child life divine. The 102 minute is clear with determination and hard work with an effective social message.
