Jharsuguda Dist. Headquarter Hospital Inaugurated by Health Minister Pratap Jena
Jharsuguda:�Health Minister Pratap Jena inaugurated newly constructed Jharsuguda Dist. Headquarter Hospital Building at Balijori on Thursday. The inauguration ceremony witnessed a war of slogans between the Congress and BJD Workers at the venue.
Health Minister Pratap Jena who had arrived at Balijori on Thursday Morning and inaugurated the New Jharsuguda Dist. Headquarter Hospital Building built under NHM (National Health Mission) �with an estimated cost of 50 Cr. He also inaugurated Nine Sub Health Centers.� Later, he also visited the old Dist. Headquarter Hospital situated in Mangal Bazaar.
While speaking to the media he said that “Our lovable leader Shri Naveen Patnaik is always focused on how the people of �Jharsuguda District �will can avail good health facilities for which the Newly Constructed District Headquarter Hospital with an estimated cost of 50 Cr. has been inaugurated, along with Nine Health Centers which has also been inaugurated today. Additionally, very soon, in Jharsuguda a Cancer Hospital and Cardiology Hospital will also be started for the people of District.
However, the old Hospital which situated at Mangal Bazaar, will also function as a Hospital so that Jharsuguda People will be benefitted from that too.” said Pratap Jena, Health Minister
Local citizens who were waiting to meet and submit their Memorandum had to return back sadly.
“We are very sad whatever happened here, we have come here with high hopes but due to this, the minister didn’t turn up to the public meeting. We wanted to hand over a memorandum in demand of �Medical College at Jharsuguda and whatever happened here it is not good for Jharsuguda” said Hira Lokchandani, President, Chamber of Commerce
