In this context, the generosity of a young police officer from Brajrajnagar has further brightened the image of the police. Dilip Das, SDPO from Brajrajnagar, introduced humanity by seeking an emergency medicine from Cuttack for a mentally retarded young woman of Bandhbahal area.

As per sources, The daughter of one Sripati Sahu of Darlipali village in Bandhabahal area has been receiving treatment at AIIMS and Cuttack hospitals for a long time due to her mental illness. However, there is no way to consult or check with a doctor due to lockdown. Even the most necessary drugs for her was also exhausted. However, when he returned back from Cuttack, the entire family was in worried due to strict 14-day restraint rules. However, at this time, Brajrajnagar SDPO Dilip Das had extended a helping hand, But despite extensive efforts, he was unable to find those medicines in the local area.

Later, SDPO Das specially ordered those medicine from Cuttack. even the drug was found to be available at his friend’s shop in Cuttack, but the only problem was how to get the medicine in Brajrajnagar. Subsequently, the medicine was handed over to a truck driver who was coming to Brajrajnagar with rations and arrived on Monday. As soon as SDPO Das got the medicine, he immediately went to Darlipali and handed over the medicine to Sripati Sahu. The family thanked Dilip Das, SDPO, Brajrajnagar. SDPO Mr Das is now being praised in various quarters for his humanitarian work.
