“I have been interested in Bhajan and Kirtans before I joined the police force. I was selected for the Police force in the year 1990 and underwent training for one year before joining the force. I was so interested in music that whenever I find time I will make sure that I sing a song. I even sing songs on several social functions. With the help of my senior officers, I have also done several Jan Jagaran programmes in Naxalite areas in Sundargarh during my tenure. So even my batch mates requested me, to pen down an awareness song for covid19, after which I compiled this song at night after my duty hours got completed. I feel that people will surely support this cause and follow this.”
“Our havildar had shared us his song, after which I felt that it can create a good impact among the citizens of Jharsuguda so we along with others police officials created this awareness in different public places in Jharsuguda, and I think, this song will surely boost the appeal and people will follow it.” said Jharsuguda Police station officer-in-charge Sabitri Bal
