Jharsuguda : Going a step ahead of the state government directions, all major hotels under the Hotel and Restaurants Association of Jharsuguda have voluntarily stopped Dine-in Service for non-residing guest in Jharsuguda as a precautionary measure.
As per the advisory issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department on Friday, all the stand-alone restaurants, bars, coffee shops, canteens, eateries of all kinds where a large number of people dine and congregate will be closed immediately until further orders.
Further, all the hotels have been also directed to maintain a social distance of 2 meters among the guests in their in-house restaurants. The hotels and restaurant owners have been advised to encourage customers/ guests for takeaways.
“We the major hotel’s owners of Jharsuguda have decided to close down our restaurant because we don’t want this virus to spread. So we are taking precautions at all level and this was a collective decision by all,” said Abhishek Lath, Secretary, of Hotel and Restaurant Association of Jharsuguda

” It’s a very good step, I even read a media report where it was reported that in 50 cases were detected in 41 days but in just two days more 50 cases were reported, It’s an alarm for us. The only way we can avoid is to stay at home and keep ourselves safe,” said Sanjay, a resident
