Jharsuguda : Going a step ahead of the state government directions, all major hotels under the Hotel and Restaurants Association of Jharsuguda have voluntarily stopped Dine-in Service for non-residing guest in Jharsuguda as a precautionary measure.
As per the advisory issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department on Friday, all the stand-alone restaurants, bars, coffee shops, canteens, eateries of all kinds where a large number of people dine and congregate will be closed immediately until further orders.
Further, all the hotels have been also directed to maintain a social distance of 2 meters among the guests in their in-house restaurants. The hotels and restaurant owners have been advised to encourage customers/ guests for takeaways.
“We the major hotel’s owners of Jharsuguda have decided to close down our restaurant because we don’t want this virus to spread. So we are taking precautions at all level and this was a collective decision by all,” said Abhishek Lath, Secretary, of Hotel and Restaurant Association of Jharsuguda
