We will send the reports to the concerned department. Once it will be approved then we can start our flight Operation. Presently the IFR approval (Instrument flight rules – a procedural approval of the lighting system by which the landing of aircraft can be done in low visibility) is pending.  Once the IFR approval is done then we can start its operation.  We are expecting that IFR approval will be done very soon and after that, we will start the operations.

Those who have booked their tickets in advance, we have already called and informed than and had refunded the amount. I think by the first week of July we would start our operations”

“The required instrument for getting IFR approval has already been installed and the process of getting the approval is in pipeline and very soon we would get the IFR approval but the IFR approval is for Category 4C type aircraft,” said S.K. Chauhan, Jharsuguda Airport Director
