Jharsuguda : Nine children were rescued from the Jharsuguda under phase two operation of Muskan launched by Jharsuguda Police Administration & Jharsuguda Child Welfare Committee on Monday. All the nine children’s have been sent to the child care center until families are traced.
Under the second Phase of the Operation Muskan, Child’s were rescued from places like Dhaba’s, Garage and small factories. Among the nine children, 2 Child belonged from Ganjam, 3 from Jharsuguda, 1 from Nuapada Dist. , 2 each from Jharkhand and Bihar respectively.
“Rescued Child’s were working in very pathetic conditions. Later, the rescued Child’s were produced at Child Welfare Committee and have been sent to Child Care Centers till their family traced. Even an FIR has been given against the owners under they were working by the Dist. Labour Officer. Their rehabilitation measures will take place as per law.” said District Child Protection Officer, Sunanda Maharana
