25 Lakhs Looted in broadday light from a Coal Transport Company

Jharsuguda: Two unidentified motorbike miscreants looted 25 Lakhs from a cashier of a Coal Transport Company at gun point  on Thursday afternoon near Budhipatar area.

As per the Police Sources, Three employees of Ardhnareshwar Coal Transport Company, including Rajendra Prasad, a cashier with the firm, withdrew cash of Rs 25 lakh from Punjab National Bank branch located at Mangal Bazar Jharsuguda and were returning to their office allocated at Bandhbahal near Budhipatar area when two unidentified men with their face covered on their motorbike stopped the Hyundai i10 Car (HR 16H 5704) and broke the glass of the driver’s seat and looted 25 Lakhs at a gun point near Budhipatar area in broad day light at 11:30 AM.

 “We have received the complaint and have visited the spot of the incident.We have sealed the borders of the district and started our search operation to nab the culprits.” Said Jharsuguda SDPO B.K. Nanda
