Loot at Durlaga Co-operative Society Bank

Jharsuguda : Four armed masked miscreants on Monday Morning looted Durlaga Co-operative Society Bank located at Durlaga Village under Jharsuguda District and fled away with 1.45 Lakhs Cash with them.

As per Pradeep Kumar Sahu, the Secretary of Durlaga Co-operative Society Bank, he had opened this Co-operative Society Bank at his usual time 10 O’clock and was doing out his routine work when at 10.30 A.M. four armed masked miscreant barged into the office and pointed out the gun on to Pradeep and his peon Narayna Koudi and threatened to kill if he did not hand over the cash stored in the iron chest. The miscreant had beaten Pradeep for resisting and had taken the 1.45 Lakhs from him. Before fleeing from the spot, the miscreants had taken away Pradeep’s Mobile with them and had locked the duo (Pradeep and Narayan) in the room and fled away from the scene in their Black Pulsar bike.

Soon after that, Pradeep opened his room window and had alerted the villagers who had come and opened the lock and had informed the police officials. Police Officials along with Jharsuguda S.P. Dilip Deo had visited the spot.

Jharsuguda S.P. Dilip Deo said that, “Four unidentified miscreants, who had come in two motorcycle bike, had fled away with the cash of Rs. 1, 45,879. In this regard, a robbery case had been registered and has alerted all bordering Police Station and sealed the district border. All necessary steps are being taken to nab the miscreants and we are sure that we will detect this case very soon.”
