CM tries to woo voters in Jharsuguda and Brajrajnagar

Jharsuguda: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik harped on development placard even on his visit to Brajrajnagar and Jharsuguda Western Odisha tour on Sunday. Being the Last day for the Campaigning he addressed a public gathering at OPM field at Brajrajnagar and BTM field at Jharsuguda in afternoon.

In Brajrajnagar, CM said that , “He is aware about the  problem of Orient Paper Mill and is trying to solve it”.

In Jharsuguda , Naveen tried to connect with the locals by saying that in the time of great Biju Patnaik, Jharsuguda was declared a new district. In the field of industries and economic sector, Jharsuguda district is No.1.

He also said that, the main problems in Jharsuguda are traffic and drains and should be as it is most important for the development of the city.

State government has been giving funds for concrete roads, Hi-max Light and Kalyan Mandap in all cities be it a big or small.

The Chief Minister said that even his father Biju Patnaik had recommended for HC bench in Western Odisha and the BJD-led State Government also took a similar step in 2008. And have again requested to the Centre “But the Central Government is playing petty Politics on it,” he alleged.

HC Bench in Western Odisha is one of the long awaiting demands and BJD always supports the demand.
He alleged that Union Government and Opposition parties Congress and BJP were playing “petty politics” over the issue.

Reiterating commitment of the State Government for all round development of the State, Naveen highlighted the various welfare schemes launched by his Government. “Besides, our’s is the second state in country to present an agricultural budget. Special attention is being given to development of Western Odisha,” he said.

In this meeting along with the CM, Cine Star Anubhav Mohanty along with Panchayati Raj Minister Kalpataru Das, MLA Prabhat Biswal, MLA Ravi Mallick, Dr. Hamid Hussian, Ex-Speaker, Kishore Kumar Mohanty and others were present in this function.
As per schedule, CM soon after the meeting left for Deogarh.
